Very basic DSD ADC made with op-amps and logic gates

Thanks for your reply, I have no need for USB, I just need a stereo DSD ADC so I can test out my new amplifier design. So a basic circuit like one you have made would do the job, I may rework it in a way where I could provide timing signals from a FPGA.

ADS1204 & ADS1205 ... both 1-bit A/D converters, one a 4 channel version.

Do you know where I can get a DSD / PDM ADC unit? I been looking for something to do this, so I can test out the digital HDMI connection with a AF signal generator.

Sorry, I do not know what "PDM" is an acronym for ... ? Did you mean PCM, or .. ?

Pulse density modulation.

Some like to call single-bit sigma-delta modulates PDM, although a sigma-delta modulate is always discrete time while PDM can also be continuous time.

Thanks Marcel ... which, however, also means that in reply to Grantwt's question I do not know of such an "ADC unit". Unless you mean an evaluation board? That should be available from TI (yet if you look at the ADC itself I would guess that designing a PCB could also be done in a "reasonable time").

As commented on, I am also looking for something in the way of a ADC to send out DSD via a HDMI connector, could be a kit or built up PCB.
