I Want to stack two 1601s vertically and place 4001 in the middle. This will save some foot space in NYC.
Is this going to effect sound quality in negative way compare to horizontal layout?
In terms of foot print I'm keeping the width and depth of 2402 except the height will be higher at 4'-1"tall.

Its an often used configuration of these woofer/mid-highrange combination!
ReyAudio (Kinoshita) RM-6, 7, 8 or the Augspurger Monitors for example and so many more works that way!

The footprint surely depends on the internal volume and also on usefull dimensions for the Loudspeaker. When you intend to use the original MidrangeHorn from TAD, the TH4001 then you get an enclosure that will become between 25.5 and 27.5 inches wide. The height will be around 47 to 50 inch and deep, that depends on the volume!
Let me guess 22 to 24 maybe 26 inches deep! But that all depends on simple things like the thickness of the enclosurewalls the used drivers and the internal volume of the enclosure and also your personal skills as ,,Woodworm"! 😀
