Hi,
I'm looking at building a set of trolls poor mans strad. Id like to getbthe rounded wings veneered butbi have zero veneering skills.
Vie in vain used goggle to try tom find a company in the San Francisco bay area who could veneer the wings for me but no success. Any idea on what type of company to search for? I searched at kitchen refinishing companies etc but they seem only to do PVC style of veneer on cabinets and flat surfaces.
Any ideas?

Probably...
you'll have to seek out an old woodworker who has the skills. Sometimes they're in an old abandoned section of the city in a dingy old shop. Finding these guys is a bit of a challenge since they don't advertise and rely on word-of-mouth references to get business.

Veneering Help Ideas
You might look for local woodworking clubs (e.g., those who build DIY furniture, wood-turning, jewelery boxes, etc.) or a store that caters to enthusiasts. Many of these DIY furniture builders use veneer to finish their work so would have the skills and/or equipment and would probably help you out.

I found a local place after your input on where to search.
The Sawdust Shop - Your complete woodworking center, offering a do-it-yourself woodshop, woodworking store, and woodworking classes. Get Good With Wood!
Seems be whatni am looking for. They also have classes which I really appreciate.

Sawdust Shop
Wow, that looks like a great place with a wonderful lineup of tools, including a laser engraver. I have access to a small shop near home but the Sawdust Shop makes it look undernourished. Have fun. I think you'll find that the woodworkers are as nice as the DIY audio folks, willing and able to provide help and encouragement.
Troels Gravesen is a great guy also and will surely help you figure out build problems - if any.
