Hi from Greece!! Many years ago i found out a vintage electrocardiograph,i pull out many nos tubes(4 pc el 84 valvo, and 3 ecc83 telefunken),all the tubes it is a perfectly matched, and very strong. I use the tubes the el84 in my rh84 amp,and the teles in my preamp(audio symphonies plus-r).The sound of preamplifier, improved too much. In amplifier i tested russian, chinese, and naturally the valvo el84.All of them sounds perfectly and now i listen with valvo el84.I need to know who is made the valvo tubes, and the teles is genuine telefunken, too many codes and numbers on each tube which not understand.I upload some photos ! Thanks a lot!!!!!!!😀 PS: in telefunken base etched in glass looks like a rhombus with numbers.if it help i have a photo with these numbers.

Valvo was a German brand taken over by Philips before the EL84 was invented, so the EL84 you have will be Philips production. Very good tubes!
The diamond/rhombus in the base indicates a genuine Telefunken tube. The line of numbers down the side are date codes.

The EL84 should have a factory etch code, on the side near the base. These can sometimes be quite faint and hard to see.
Looking at the photo of the four EL84s together you can just see in the second EL84 from the left a factory code etched into it's base. Four ribs in the glass around the nipple also suggest Philips.
Philips codes.
Thanks Soonerorlater! i see the etched code in the tube looks like rX3,and the second line D3C7.This url Tube Classics - Philips Audio Tubes says it is from Hamburg plant 1960-1963 production Thanks all for your replies!
