Mr Triatic-were your SQ valves marked Philips anywhere on the valve. Mine have no markings apart from the SQ and E88CC

If they have no small codes then one has to suspect that the tube may not be Philips (or that they have been removed -- usually any silkscreen is gone before that -- unless intentionally removed)

..no, they are not marked with Philips, except for the box it came in 😎

i have also seen variants with a wreath of oakleafs around "SQ"
