This is a board for a SE amplifier, octal outputs octal dual triode driver stage 6SL7/6SN7.

I forgot to drill holes in the centers of the sockets, and there is no decoupling on the driver tube cathodes. Will likely need a preamp.

I have six boards left over from a previous board order. PM if you want a board

This is a board for a adjustable high voltage regulator with TL431 error amplifier and TO-247 N-Mos pass element.

About 10VDC to 300VDC is possible with this board.

Nfor is the radio forum in the netherlands, Hence the name.

I designed a series regulator for negative voltages (NRS is a Dutch Abreviation for Negative grid voltage)

PCB can be used up to minus -250V at max 50-100mA, consult TIP50 SOA graphs to see how much current is allowable in your use case.

This is a series reg design, It uses the 6.3V normally used for heaters for a voltage doubler that gives 17V no load, this is used for a shunt regulated PSU that gives +10V reference, and -2.4V so TL082 opamps can be used.

R13 and C12 are critical. I need to simulate in spice for the value when i have time.

R18 sets the output voltage at 1K per volt. normally I would use a 2W 50PPM metal film type.

The pass stage is TIP50 with a MPSA42 driver.

Im trying a new build form factor, I'm using 10x40mm Aluminium bar stock to serve as an interface between PCB and Heatsink.

I have ordered ten boards to play with, can supply assembled and tested modules.

Cheers,
V4LVE.

Post scriptum: Im doing another batch of 6.3V LDO modules: Topic can be found here: https://www.diyaudio.com/community/...d-tube-amp-upgrade.382265/page-2#post-7350338
These boards work, but the Emitter of the BD139 and the groundplane need a botch wire. attached the schematic with revised component values.

Heres another DHT regulator using the LH0002.

LH0002 pulls can still be sourced from China, and most are genuine.

Some SMD components included in the BOM. 100R and 1K Melf resistors.

This regulator will happily supply 5A for a 813.

Greetings from Bulgaria !!! I love this simply board, it is very nice for testing some variations of SE Amps. Can you made some universal board for octal PP amp, it will be super handy to have one and just to test some variants, also with bias board can be set some variations. I know it is lazy 🙂, but this post is my favorite, because I can test some ideas and bad/good decisiones. Thank you for sharing !

Ive nearly finished my last batch of 6.3VAC to 6.3VDC supplies. Therefore I am posting the gerbers for these very convenient PSU modules.

Sorry for the Use of MELF resistors, but there was no other way of building these as compact as they are.

Be aware that the main filter capacitors are 22.5mm snap-in types, not 25mm. And these are quite hard to source. Mouser-nr. 871-B41231A3159M000
Fet: 512-RFP12N10L
Controller: 998-MIC5156YN
Cooler is a SK129-38 available from TME or Reichelt.

I will still build these upon request and a minimum of 4PC.
This board looks very nice! 6,3VAC to 6,3VDC is what i am looking for. What values on R1 did you recommend and what values on the zener diode D3-D6?

I just made a revision of the NRS regulator for very big tube amps. It can be calibrated with a 1K/Volt single resistor and has foldback current limiting, just check the art of electronics the power supply section for the formula.

the input voltage on AC1 and AC2 is 6.3VAC

Im leaving the eagle schematic files in this thread because i cant be bothered to route the board.

The reference diode is a 1N3154 and thats an excelent reference diode, but a 1n829a will also work, or a LM329

The temperature coeficient of this supply is about 50ppm i suggest 2W metal film resistors for the voltage set resistor.
