USSR K72-11 capacitor

Hey everyone,

Just wondering if anyone has this cap, how they find them , and if they have DC on it?

Please explain ... capacitors can decouple, couple or block. All of which can have varying amounts of voltage across them.

Do people who use them have a DC component (as well as an AC component) on them ; eg can I sit them at ~700VDC 24/7

I'd use the 1000 V rating variant. 750 V rating is risky.

You will probably find some available directly from Ukrainian sellers if you google. Keep in mind that these caps are gigantic. A K72-11 - 0,22uF/1000V capacitor is approx. 15cm (6") long!!
