Hi.I can not believe that it has been 52 days after i shipped about 10 different post by tracking number to USA and none of them seems arrived! People are opening cases on ebay in USA.I posted them at December 2 and it still shows in transit!
I am sure that they left our country(I ship worldwide and they arrive safe and sound, for example it took 8 days to Sweden,10 days to U.K) but the packages that i sent in the beginning of December going to USA still has no update from USPS!For example RR267116522TR
But The packages that i sent on middle of December seems has arrived on USPS web site.(The packages that i sent later has arrived in USA but earlier packages still seems not delivered)
What can be the problem?

I've had just one instance of this happening with a small item coming from Italy and it was actually U.S. Customs that was at fault. You might want to contact USPS directly, they are generally extremely reliable in my long experience and for me personally my preferred carrier for small items.
If the tracking tool indicates it's sitting at a location in NYC it's lost, probably forever. (That's where mine went astray) This seems most likely to happen with small envelopes and unlikely with parcels IMVLE.
Good luck, hope you find out what went wrong.

There are about 10 packages sent on 2 December and one big package 2,5 kilograms sent on 10 December has not arrived yet.I think they should improve their service. Is there any diyer who works on USPS that can help by giving tracking number?
Talking to people around the US it seems that their experience with USPS varies by location. Some people will have nothing at all to do with their service and will always pay whatever the difference to have it go FedEx or UPS or whichever.
I have nothing but good to say about the USPS where I live. Very good service, very fast, good people.

I am sure it is waiting to be scanned by barcode scanner in Usps NY ISC .The packages that i sent later has been delivered but this parcel is still waiting. There is also about 10 little packages sent on 2 december still waiting.Packages i sent after Christmas has also arrived.I think they are putting parcels in storehouse during Christmas period and the latest party is scanned first because it is eaiser to reach (older mails are stored at behind and more far away from workers i think and they do scan step by step from newer mails to older ones.I guess It is because of exremely busyness during Christmas.Millions of packages come there) It is same in Germany too.Germany post is also very slow.In other seasons Usps is not bad.

My experience with USPS when I lived in Seattle was mostly positive. I probably shipped about 200 orders (padded envelopes with circuit boards) and countless other shipments from there . Exactly two went missing. One I'm sure was lost in a back alley in Singapore as the customer there had regular issues with mail delivery and only received the subsequent tracked shipment after tracking down the mailman. The second package was my old iPhone 4, which was declared as "iPhone 4" on the customs paperwork (thanks, eBay!). It's anybody's guess what happened there. In neither case could I blame the USPS for certain.
USPS's customer service is horrible, though. It takes some digging to find a phone number for them, and even then it's a generic 1-800 number. Stay on hold forever to finally talk to a human who can't do much beyond filing a trouble ticket on your behalf.
Shipping via Canada Post has been an overwhelmingly positive experience. Their customer service is rock solid. Shipments to the US usually hit the border within a day or two (faster than a shipment across Canada). They do seem to get stuck at the border for a while (over a week) sometimes, though. Depending on the shipping service used, they then continue as first class mail (slow) or USPS Priority Mail (2-3 day delivery) once they clear customs.
I have only positive things to say about Canada Post's customer service. Call them and talk to a human within 30 seconds (yes, seconds!) The human is able to help right away and the help is actually ... helpful. They were very helpful when I needed to set up my business here and have been helpful on the few issues I've had. (It turns out the boxes Mouser uses and than I reuse almost fit in the street-side letter boxes. Almost. I've jammed the mailbox a couple of times and have had Canada Post come and un-jam it within a few hours.)
If you need stuff shipped across an international boundary in a predictable and short amount of time, go with FedEx, UPS, DHL, Purolator, et al. They handle their own customs processing so they tend to be much faster. Their tracking is also second to none.

+1 to Tom's remarks - with the addition of placing UPS at the bottom of the list - if for no other reason than their Brokerage fees on small value shipments. I've seen those more than the shipping charges and the total of duties / local collectable taxes.
"what can Brown do to you today?" 😱

I've bad experiences with obscene brokerage fees from UPS, DHL and Fedex
for packages coming into Canada.
UPS, however, takes the cake for delivering a 100-pound amplifier to the wrong
address.

The problem is not US Post but US customs. I have been doing international sell for over 10 years shipped virtually thousands packages to any worldwide locations. I'm already used to it and it is the only country that does it. For whatever reason US customs hold the packages on their shelves for a week, two, sometimes three or even longer. US customs is the first step once the packages enter the US before any US post facilities so usually it is not visible in tracking at all. Once it is visible meaning customs have released it, it reaches the destination fast. Don't blame the post though. It's not their foult. It's US customs.

I sent a package to a DIYAUDIO'r in Moscow from NJ -- they arrived two days later, same experience with a fellow in Australia.
OTOH, I have a customer near Munich and packages take 6 weeks...another who has an office in Barcelona got returned.
About 10 years ago there was an article in the Wall St. Journal about Romans who had taken to having their parcels delivered to the Vatican. I must say that my experience with Italy has been much better.
I would also ask if it is really USPS that is the problem, or Customs. Domestically, both sending and receiving, I would say USPS has improved a lot. What can be the problem?
My experience with USPS has been appalling (stuff coming from the US to AU)... Three Out of three parcels sent standard air mail none ever arrived. One was returned to sender around 6 months after it was originally sent. One parcel (resend of one of the three) was sent registered (or the us equivalent) and that arrived ok.
Tony.

Thank you for this useful info.Do you know how to speed customs up?I also send more than 20k packages in 6 years of selling and have not met such a delay yet.I will never send to Usa around Christmas via Usps.Everybody opening ebay cases in Usa and wants money back but i have nothing to do.Some of them wants to keep both items and money. No answers to mails anymore after ebay refunded. No honestyThe problem is not US Post but US customs. Umut, I got a rather interesting result when I ran that tracking number through the USPS tracking tool. There are no departure or destination scans listed. I am not sure how to interpret this, but it looks like the package might never have left Turkey. Might want to ask Turkish Post whether they can initiate a trace on your missing packages. (They can probably find out what happened even if it happened here.) My lost package showed up as departure scan, then scanned on landing in NYC and never cleared customs.

The funny thing is Usps is just giving wrong info to customers.I know Turkish post and they send items in 3 bussiness days max.My Uk customers receives items after a week.Once my customer received package in 3 days in Uk and in 4 days in Belgium. It is waiting at Usps customs but they are giving wrong information.Origin post is preparing the package hahaha what a lie.It is because they do not want to get phone calls and customer complaints in Usa side. Our post does not have a storehouse to store those packages and they are not stupids to store those packages as there is flight to Usa every day.It is just about strict security controls and customs controls in Usa imo
