How can I get Spice to utilize the files that ya'll have so graciously presented? I've been through all 180 pages of this thread, and have found no clear cut answers.
I don't write code, I'm a lowly carpenter by trade.
I have LTSpice, and have followed the instructions previously posted as to getting the .inc files to run, but can only open them as a text file, and have found no way to install the operating paramitors for the individual component into the model.
It would be nice to be able to experiment before going to the breadboard.

You can not run .inc files as they're the included model files or library, this is linked to the main program with extension .asc file which can be run inside the Spice pragram if you open it and then clip "Run" under the "Simulation". You will also need the .asy assembly files which represent the actual thing such a switch, potentiometer, LED or coil diode transformation etc.. The inc file will provide the model (math calculation) link to each pin of the asy files. So the pin description in the inc must have corresponding pin in asy file. You can go through the tutorial to get better understandings then from me.
Thanx for the reply. rufus74pz has managed to walk me through it via a couple short videos he made.
