Using Tidal with jriver Asio clicks and pops.

Hi guys

Do any of you stream tidal master recordings with jriver mc _> asio driver to a usb to spdif converter?
My setup are:
Laptop windows 8.1
Diyink xu216 usb to spdif
Es9018 Dac
Have tested it with asio bridge selected with exclusive mode where I got a distorted sound and clicks and pops.
Laptop tested ok with latency test program.
Tidal works fine with exclusive mode and diyink xu216.

Any inputs here?

I use JRiver 23 with different hardware (but windows PC) and have similar problems using the "WDM" audio feature of JRiver. I only use this to listen to hos.com free weekly program via Microsoft Edge. Curiously, my pops and clicks greatly reduced after I swapped the PC out from a Dell Latitude 7200 netbook to a Pipo X9 tv box. I think the pops and clicks is fairly common with the WMD feature. May I suggest that you ask in the JRiver forum for more help?
