I've searched through the topics on speaker enclosure ratios and stuff.. but was unable to get any info on using the narrow side..
Im currently in the process building 2 enclosures for 2 12"'s i got..
3 cu. ft.
At first, i was gonna go ahead with the golden ratio.... but read some other threads about using the golden ratio..so i scrapped that idea cause im only putting in a 12".. and decided to go with
a modified ratio of 24.5 x 19 x 14.5 enclosure..
im using the 14.5 side as the front...
my question:
is 14.5 (13" internal) too narrow for a 12" woofer.

Shouldn't be -- you will certainly minimize baffle flex.
