I'm considering building a pair of speakers for my PA, using one or two pair of Dayton's pro version air motion transformers. It occurs to me that the dipole aspect can be exploited, in the manner (if not design) of a vented enclosure. Anyone have pointers at anything on building mid-tweeter enclosures that make use of the 'other half' of a dipole?
Have you tried Siegfried Linkwitz' site?

I hadn't before, but last night I pulled the first all nighter study session I've done in many years. The answer to my question is in there, but there's so much more, particularly with respect to human hearing. I've not seen such an in depth treatment of the subject outside of my research and teaching experience, and never at all being integrated into the technical aspects of sound reproduction. This gives me a lot of new paths to pursue. Thank you.
