using my picture slides projector

can anyone please help

i have a picture slides projector.it has good light source (160 watt) , 3 huge lenses.works quite well with pictures slides.can i put an LCD instead of a slide (about 2 inches) ?will it work effeintly? how much will the LCD cost? please add a link for the LCDS
