Using 2 full range drivers per side

I had under/over 2 x 4" tang band bamboos.
It was called the derringer.
I used pennies to get them level at the listening seat.

It is a toss up.
I think 2 x smaller drivers are better than larger drivers with whizzers, and better lateral dispersion (2x4") than a 6" full range driver.

2 x 4" can cost more than a 6", and the Fs is usually higher than a 6".

But, 2 x 4" sounded better / cleaner than 1 driver (less distortion).

I'd never do it again though...............

What did you do instead?

Ancient Jordan-Watts speakers. Twin full range, bass reflex tunnel vent, plenty bass, comb filtering not huge issue.

What'd i do ?
Built a 4 driver focused array, then a 9 driver focused array.

I'm Still all over the place. Fane 12" full range driver using home theater receiver and sub, or double 15" and big horn. Waiting for a dual 12" fane. Tempted to try 6db capped tweet with my 6.5" silver flutes (collecting dust).

Good luck.
I can say don't make your box dimensions squarish, I try for golden ratios now.
