Is there anyone who can tell me screw caps with the following specs are usefull for us, audioDIY people?
Perhaps for using in power supplies?
They are the white Rifa caps with the following specs:
RIFA
0001 / 411973
PEA169MV533AQ
63VDC
-10% / +30%
-45 DEGREES C / +105 DEGREES C
They are 15 cm high and has a diamter of 7,5 cm.
I can buy these new old stock but do not know they are good or usefull

Hmm...six or eight times 33.000µF/63V would be a good match for a nice class A amp.
Some Rifa caps have a shelf life of 4 years, some 10 years.

I couldn't find the PEA series so I looked at PEH.
There are some threads here at the forum how to power up older caps but the basic rule is slow.

Hi,
firm up the postage on lots of 4 and 8. and make sure you cover your packaging costs.
then offer them in trading.
I think they will go fast.
try to find the ripple current and esr spec for them. They could be very good.
I already have my caps but I wish I was still in the market.
