USB soundcard for Linux

Anyone know of a usb soundcard that works fine i Linux.USB for my Laptop.

That one looks nice.Have you tested it in Linux with full volume. with no dist?

And it works nice in windows with full on the volume ,but in ubuntu it distorts on halv the volume control.

Asus Xonar U7 works well on Raspberry PI => should work fine on other Linux boxes. Volume control dial on the box acts a USB HID device sending messages back to host. Volume of actual DAC output is settable via normal ALSA methods.

Hello from Greece! I use a behringer external usb card .
It works fine in linux.
It tested in mint,manjaro and opensusse.
Buy it from ebay,and use it with audacity to digitize my old cassettes !

I used the same thingy, Behringer uca222, on Fedora Linux, some time back in 2014 or so.

Stretch the budget a bit and a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 3rd Gen will come in sight.

The U5 and U7 worked well on Linux for me; should be good for almost all mainstream distros by now. Very good performance IMO, I was quite happy with the sound quality; the main reason I upgraded was to get balanced outputs, otherwise I'd still be using them.
