USB powered, MOSFET H-Bridge audio amplifier?!?

Hi all

Not sure exactly which forum this should be in.....

I'm looking to build a USB powered, 2.5W amplifier...

PAM8403 based, and their brethren are not an option given the cost and the location of use (exchange rate, currency restrictions)

So I'm left with re-inventing the wheel 🙁

I came across this Give me a 5w or 10w amplifier circuit

Would this be a good idea to implement by itself, or would it require an opamp input buffer?!?

The thought of a MOSFET H-Bridge crossed my mind, but I lack the know how for pulling off such a design...

Would someone guide me in the right direction?!?

TDA7052 is an analogue bridged circuit based on the original circuit in your link. You will need 2 for stereo.
Using mosfets with limited supply is pointless and wasteful unless using a switching type amplifer....

I was hoping to get around 2W.... I'll source TDA7052 and see how that works out.....

In the meantime, I think I'll build the H-Bridge just for the heck of it...
