USB interface for older DAC ICs

Hi i found a pair of burr brown pcm56p and a few other dac ics i want to use for a usb dac but i dont know how to get digital signals from a usb port into them. Whhat do you recommend?

I think pcm 2704 on its own would be fine

No. PCM2704 does not have I2S output, PCM2706 has. But PCM56P does not work with I2S. I would go with post #2.

no im talking that the dac in the 2704 is fine for what im doing i just dont like smd soldering

I don't know what are you doing, but:
a) In general, DAC in 2704 is not good
b) If you dont like smd soldering, why not to buy something ready? Like this:
