Anyone know where I can get a good USB type c breakout board like this one?
There are millions available BUT most are configured as a host device and NOT a sub device.
You can add a 5.1k resistor to it to tell the device it's connected as a sub device but for some silly reason it's not working on the boards I have.
Anyone know where I can get these already configured as a sub device?

Because the usb-c plug is obviously reversible you need to use two 5k1's to cover both plug orientations, one on each CC
Maybe that's where you're going wrong?
For any "breakout" I would look to ADAfruit first.
Adafruit USB Type C Breakout Board - Downstream Connection : ID 4090 : $2.95
> You can add a 5.1k resistor to it to tell the device it's connected as a sub device
"The two 5.1K resistors on the CC1 pins indicate to the upstream port to provide 5V and..." -- is that what you want?
