Usage of osciloscope to measure speaker spl

Hello,

Is anybody who use osciloscope to measure speaker spl. I am going to use one to measure Fs, by sin generator but I would like to know how we can use osciloscope for spl.

You would need a reference by which to calibrate it to. You can buy a little capsule that fits up to your mic with a known power to set things to.

Why not just run any of the freeware spectrum analysis tools?
