upward firing

I've finally got hold of a peerless xls 10 for use in my sub project, however I do not know if it is suitable for upward firing (which ideally i need)

Is there a way of working it out?

it is suitable for upward firing, though there is the possibility of cone sag over long periods, but i dont think that you should worry, if it ever did sag just turn it upside down for a few months😀
