UPV Service Manual Needed

Hi
Just got an new to me R&S UPV.Its with alot of hardware and software options.Very nice unit from 2015--but it have a fault. It says generator overload and shuts off the generator output!
Have been looking for a real service manual with no luck. But the instrument came with two cd`s--here are what they call-service manual-for UPV.Its a service manual without schematics--can share if needed.
Have the complete service info for UPL.It looks close to the UPV??.
Any help appeciated

Hi
Still have problem with generator overload!.
Tried to nail down the problem-my unit have generator 1 , generator 2 and lowdistortion generator.First reomeved generator 2--it didnt solve the problem, then lowdistortion generator unplugged, still no change--so at least generator 1 faulty--or maybe firmware???.
Did clone the original ssd and with this working cloned unit i updated from ver 3... to the last firmware.
It whent smooth,working--but in some way its calibration lost. Then it say i can calibrate it by connecting aux in to aux out!!!-here i stopped, not sure its clever to try with a faulty generator.
Any idea on how to move old cal data to new cloned unit??

We have 3 UPVs (B1,B3, K4) here at our workshop. One of them (we got it secondhand) had a lot of flux traces around components on the analogue board - i.e. someone had replaced opamps. We found several shorted MLCCs (a classic issue with MLCCs - especially SMT variant). This took out fuses and Vreg ICs on the PSU. We traced all of these issues and got the machine to a 'nearly working' state, but the values on the interface were garbled. We threw in the towel...and sent the unit to R+S.

You can see thread here: https://www.diyaudio.com/community/threads/upv-50hz-on-output.412073/

This is the weird part: even though we'd discovered shorted caps (and previous owner or R+S had changed ICs), R+S simply replaced the whole analogue PCB... It's a massive board and I dread to think what it would cost, even in raw components.

So, R+S themselves appear to have 'shotgun' repaired our UPV. Being an analogue dog, I cannot imagine a scenario where you wouldn't be able to fix such a board at component level (apart from an internal fire, which can trash a PCB). I am wondering just how skilled the engineers at R+S are WRT to AAs now???... They no longer make them, and may well have retired the original team. If you need a repair, they shotgun it. Our UPV is currently back with them, as we found it had more 50Hz on the oscillator than our other UPVs.

My advice is to trace out the MLCCs and relays. If you check the link above, the R+S repair looks very 'shotgun-like'.... An SM with component schematic would be a holy grail. I doubt anyone outside of R+S has one, and even if they do, they don't get too deeply into it if you send them the machine!

Thanks
My unit have never been opened. Its analog board looks very like the one used in UPL--- as we have the service book and schematics for.
The unit came two cd`s-one with MS thing-and the other with R&S upv documents--attach what the call-service manual.
My greatest problem right now are how to update the firmware....and have the calibration stay with the new setup...
