hello, i have a dukane 677, i didnt like the idea of it using the 95v/575w HMI metalhallide bulbs which cost $250 and last 750hours.
what exacly do i need to convert it to the ones which accpet the cheap MH bulbs which last for 10,000+ hours. (prefer 400w)

The one at lumen lab runs on a hps ballast (not a MH ballast, even though its a MH bulb).
Whats the difference between the diylabs kit and the lumenlab one, anyone? The ushio s400dd has a 27mm arc length... is this too long?
Should a condensor lense be used with a 400watt lamp? Where is a suitable one available? Is that just overkill?
