Upgrading cheap Cirrus Logic CS4344 24-bit, 192 kHz Stereo DAC

The 0v is connected to the negative side of the capacitor bank, there is no earth on the cap bank or the dac board.

I would try linking the 0v to the main earth terminal.

Cheers, I would try that right away but I've stripped the thing down to the bare chassis to start over from scratch with how the components are arranged. However, it's something I will try when I reassemble it if the hum is still present.
