Greetings!
First a bit of background. I'm 22 and my family owns a small vineyard where I can throw parties and hang out with my friends.
We listen to everything there from rock/metal to rap and techno depending on the squad's preferences that is there hanging out.
Currently I have a 2.1 50W amplifier board from ebay there powering my dads old Magnat speakers and a Subwoofer from sony's home theatre.
It's ok the way it sounds for the aplication but when you want to turn it up all the way it starts cutting out (probably the power supply's fault) and the sound quality isn't greatest and it lacks volume.
Would an old 90's stereo amplifier like Sony F319R
(Sony TA-F319R Integrated Stereo Amplifier Manual | HiFi Engine) or something similar that goes for around 50USD used locally make sense to buy? I was thinking of buying a separate amplifier board just for the bass and running either a y splitter or powering it trough a low pass crossover/filter from the B side speaker out.
Or would again an all in one 2.1 board from ebay make more sense?
So I would like to upgrade the existing setup but I'm not totally sure witch route to take. My budget is around 75USD and I wouldn't like to go much more.
Every suggestion is welcome and feel free to ask questions.
Thanks, Sven.

Buy another amplifier and use it.
The eBay versions have small transformers, and fake chips, if you know that then it is not a big disappointment.
They simply do not have the output stated.
And buying a ready unit makes more sense if you are not familiar with electronics.
If needed, I would put a higher current transformer and slightly bigger capacitors in the power supply, and a bigger heat sink for the chips, which will mostly be 2030/2050/1875, good to about 15Watts each from China at 30 Volts.
Your kit may be 20 Volts to chips, so about 10 Watts each chip, loud inside a house. Outside, not so much.

Yes I'm aware that specifications on those amplifiers are not true.
Unfortunately I can't upgrade the power supply like that because it uses a laptop like power supply so only option would be to buy a different one.
I measured the output power of the amplifier when powered from a bench power supply and the output was around 2x13W for the left and right and around 32W for the bass.
Would you recommend going with a used amplifier like I mentioned or finding a different amplifier from ebay?

Buy one you can test.
eBay is full of bad units, sometimes the seller is not aware of what he is selling.
Best to buy locally.
Or build one, long project.
Or find one in car scrap.

THAT sounds like the god life 😉.
Latest eBay amp bargain that I have experienced would be this;
Wuzhi Audio Amp Board 100W*2 ZK-1002 BT 5.0 & 3.5mm AUX (TPA3116D2 * 2) | eBay
Along with a decent laptop power supply;
240W Adapter Charger For Asus G70 / G70S / G70SG Gaming Laptop Power Supply Cord | eBay
These are good for around 60-80 wpc, sound great, and the Bluetooth is pretty convenient.
I mounted one of the amps inside one of my pairs of speakers. One thing to note with these is that there must always be a speaker load connected when powered.

From TI:
Tpa3116d2
THD + N @ 1 kHz(%)0.1
Speaker channels(Max)Stereo
Power stage supply(Max)(V)26
Output power(W)50
Load(Min)(ohms) 4
Most likely fake chips on above mentioned boards.
