upgrade Sonic Frontiers SFC-1

Hello everyone ... I have this integrated Sonic Frontiers and I want to upgrade it ... apart from the tubes ... I would like to change the capacitors that go to the EL34 ... these are .1 uf ... what happens if I upload them to .22uf? Would it be worth putting hexfred diodes on the power source? Can you post a schematic or link to it? Hard to give you advice without seeing the circuit.

What diodes are in the unit now? If 1 A. 1N4007s are in use, the direct replacement UF4007 is a nice, and "idiot resistant", upgrade. The 1N5408/UF5408 is the 3 A. analog.

As with diodes, cap. changes require thought about both mechanical and electrical factors.

The schematic would definitely help.
