Upgrade of a Technics A-800S Mark2 Class AA

Hi guys

I have bought this Technics A-800S Mark2 power amp very cheap, and was wondering if anything could be done to make it better.
I got help in here a wile back to modify an older Denon amplifier, and i realy liked the result. Now i have invested in a DAC Magic Plus, and because it can funcktion as a pre amp, i am thinking about sending the Denon on penssion, and go with a purely power amp.
About the Technics- at first i didnt fancy the sound, but now that i have listened to it for a litle vile, i have come to like its qualitys like a good solid bas at lower levels and it has a good amount of detail. But the sound is a bit to bright i think.
On the Denon i changed the rectifier bridge, opamps and the psu electrolytes, and the result was quite good.

As this amplifier is class A-A, i dont have a clue of were to begin with this one. The obvius would be to change the rectifiers and the electrolytes i think, but i have heard something about changing the doides to. Can anybody help me out on this one?
