Greetings everyone.
I made a webpage with a slideshow featuring my latest build,
the 'Menhir I' 3-way speakers.
Here's a link to the index page:

(2016 edit: new web host)
Enjoy.

Great job!
Veneering is the only building step I have to contract out, I suck at it 🙁
Is that aerosol foam inside the enclosures? Does it yield good results?

It *IS* aerosol foam. But that's merely for volume lessening.
The damping is still provided by tar-based black tiles and some quality polyester foam.
As for the sound, it's formidable!

What type/brand of tar-based tiles are you using and where do you get them? Is it roofing felt?
I got the rolls direct from SOLEN. Not sure if they are specifically designed for speakers. It's the second item from the top on PAGE 13 of this pricing list: http://www.solen.ca/pdf/partretusd.pdf
Or canadian prices here --> http://www.solen.ca/pdf/partretcad.pdf
🙂 cheers,
