This Board has I2S interface with these 7 pins output;
Mclk, BClk, LRCK, Data, Gnd, SPDIF, 5Vdc.
I like to interface to my DAC I2S, it seems that my DAC don't have a MCLK pin. I connect the two boards together without using the Mclk pin(left floating). I can get audio output but I can hear digital noise. Questions please:
1. Do I have to terminate the Mclk pin to Gnd?
2. If so with a resistor, 10 or 50 or 100ohm?
Any suggestions thanks.

I'm no I2S expert, but according to the manual, I believe you should connect MCLK to the DAC (which needs to be the slave???)...
PH2.0-7P: SPDIF, MCLK, IIS_DATA, BCLK, LRCK, GND, VCC_3V3:
This is the digital audio output extension. For the IIS, BCLK is 2.8MHz, the LRCK is 44.1KHz, the MCLK is 11.288MHz, the DOUT following the standard IIS data format and have 16 bits depth. The system is running in master mode, you should make sure the IIS port of connected device is running in slave mode.

Thks for the reply, I got it solved, my DAC don't have a MClk input, so this connection is not needed. Be careful the MClk has a high freg. output 100Mhz it will cause Digital noise if not tamed. To tame it I don't use the wire coming out from the Mckl so it won't act as an antenna.
