Hey I was browsing anandtech and I happened to see what looks like an interesting panel. You are stuck with a 4mb PCI video card that is required to drive it 🙁 . But it's 800*600 with 16 million colors.

Yep you're correct it's been posted before did not initally see that. But it's 20$ cheaper now. Does anyone know of any specs on these?
It looks like a nice little moniter, the video card isnot to great though. I would buy one just for aim and winamp though.
I have a sneaky suspicion that the specs are exagerated. I've found a bunch of "SHARP LQ10DX01" LCD's. These are 10.5 inch LCD's rated at 512 colours...deadly slow refresh rate. I got prety excited when I found these bare panels for a couple of reasons. (excitement didn't last long after I got the spec sheet)
1: small size 10.5 inch
2: max res of 1024x768
3: it's a "sharp" panel ( in my experience older sharp panels are dead easy to project through.
It's my suspicion that the unisys monitors are based on this sharp panel..but I could be wrong. The fellow I dealt with told me he had lots of these panels ..along with required cables...aaannnddd....4 meg proprietory video cards.
