I've gotten one of these for free and can't figure out how to use it, it might be broken(that's why I got it free).
The values jump all over the place, no matter how I try to use the "zero" knob.
Tried to measure a brand new Mundorf Mcap 8,2uF, values jumps relatively close to that capacitance for a while then they start rising. almost imposible to keep within the 20uF range...sooner or later the overload (-1) symbol appears.
Already checked the fuse and put a fresh battery in it.
Any advise is greatly appreciated!

I've tried measuring a 1000pF russian mil.spec silver mica too.
Closest range I got without getting the overload symbol in seconds was the 20uF range for a 8,2uF Mcap. But it only showed 8,2uF what appeared to be randomly a few times, and no longer than the other values it jumped between.
After a while it always climbs up while jumping from value to value on the display.

I have a similar meter and the rotary switch gets a bad contact sometimes.
If I fully rotate it a few times it clears the problem.
I'll give that a try to before binning the meter.
