Um12-22 or Alpine type R for home sub help

Hi all,

Total newbie here

Does anyone have any experience/opinions on using either a UM12-22 or SWR-1242D/R-W12D2 in a 2cuft enclosure for home use?

Would there be a significant difference in sound quality between the two?

I'm using the Type R drivers, but in a car audio environment. I'm sure that they'll sound pretty good if used in home audio subwoofer design.

I’ve got the Alpine D2’s in 3.25 cu ft, tuned in the low 20’s and they’re pretty nice!
