When the concept of dual drive, crazy drive or whatever drive came up back in 2010 I recalled a circuit that drove both G1 and G2. I had attempted to build it from memory with not so great results. John just posted the scheamtic in another thread. Mine didn't work because I forgot one minor part...the 12AU7! Post #5 here:
