An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.

I have the previus (little brother) version, the SC-R, it's very very good indeed!
Awensome transient response it's ultra fast! but the author said that the ULTRA is the best.
Cheers

Looks interesting! Would be nice to see the schematics, seems to use some kind of sliding bias current arrangement to make the output FETs operate in Class A without the huge heat dissipation.
That in combination with error correction would be potentially brilliant.

Yes, any more information on these amps - from the site looks like they're sold as kits?
Ivan, did you assemble yours, good instructions, what price?
As Rikard said, some possible innovative technology in this amp - could be brilliant.
here'a a google translate of some info
Here's the original technical pages in Spanish which goes into a lot more detail of the technologies used in the amp. http://www.pcpaudio.com/com/ultra-amp/ultra-amp.html
Edit:Oops that's the same as the link at top. Interesting pcb tracks with no angular turns - shows an attention to detail

There is an overall negative feedback loop. However, there are two partial ties encompassing two blocks voltage gain, so they are better than figures in the usual C FB but temporary distortions that lead to a single stage gain, and its consequence is a very high respect for microinformación.
Of course, all the amplifier from the input buffer to the output stage is perfectly symmetrical, giving it very low distortion figures, and still lower than usual because the contribution to the distortion of the output stage is negligible, 50 times lower than usual. This is due to a topology that allows the two power transistors operating in Class A, but with a significantly lower power consumption

Hi Jkeny:
I bought 6 stereo amps from this guy, like I said before little version SC-R. I paid 1.000 euro discount price. I have no schema, no more technical information than the web site, all the data is in Spanish, I suppose that he want to keep the secret of his formula.
The sound is very accurate, fast highs, clear crystal mid's and good deep bass. As you see in the picture I use them in 4 way active mode (sub, woofer, mid & tweet) with balanced input (diy made). The other 2 amps are just in case. The cabinet is temporary (2 years) in development...jaja!
Cheers

Thanks Ivan,
These were pre-built, I presume. What did you have before/compare them to?
Good price - what discount did you get - there are no prices on the site?

It is a fascinating pcb with traces that you could stare at for hours or is that just the uber geek in me coming out?
I wonder what board layout s/w was used or was this manually laid out? Seem too complicated for manual layout!

Easy guys:
I'm talking about the SC-R version, there is not schematics. its a pre-ensambled kit.

Yes, Ivan but the pcb pics are from the Ultra & the detail I quoted from the site is also the Ultra. I presume it's a step up from the SC-R as you said.
I have a Technics receiver (Japan) of the middle '80s (sounds very warm)
I have built the Mauro Penasa's LM3886 design ( I like it very much)
The SC-R is very fast in high's and delicious in the mid's.
Now I'm working around the BJT sub version of the PCP website (photo).
Lineup: there is not schematics
Jkeny: I bought them 4 years ago (6 stereo kits 1000 euros w/o heat sink and w/o tranfo)
Fredlock: you must to email to the website, the owner is Pablo Crespo, if you speak spanish, then better!
Cheers
Iván
PS: sorry guys, my English is bad.
