Ok, Im a bit lost and I need some advice...
I'm slowly building a simply rega plinth, so far so good its all working fine.
Now I want to finish it off, and I'm thinking a nice simple wallnut veneer.
The problem i'm having is getting my head around the available options.
1: the plinth is around 45cm x 35cm. Im having problems tracking down veneer in the UK that's large enough in a single sheet.
2: Is it possible to buy two smaller sheets and join them (more or less) seamlessly?
3: Does anyone have any thoughts on Iron on, or adhesive backed, or even paper backed veneer like Decoflex - are any of these good or bad options?
Past those problems Im not to concerned with applying it, I plan to use a trim router bit to trim the veneer.

Either lay sheets side by side to cover the area or some of their burrs are sold in pairs, lay 2 in mirror image or mirror 4 sheets in both directions to produce a figured panel.
Iron on types are easy to apply or they do a seperate "glue sheet" for the same effect with an unglued veneer. Walnut burr would be amazing! Though of course, 30% will be hidden under the platter.
