Hello -
A friend of mine wants a subwoofer for Quad ESL63s which he is running off a Quad 22/II setup.
I'd like to recommend to him something built and available in the UK. I don't know his exact budget but I'd assume a couple of hundred pounds, maybe a bit more depending. Does not need to be new - recommendations for stuff liable to turn up on ebay are very welcome.
All ideas very welcome. He can pick up London area of anywhere between Bath and London.

Well considering that this is diyaudio would either you or him be willing to do a build?
If so I would suggest a transmission line, I'm not familiar with commercial TLs but I would bet that they would be pretty far out of his budget if he wasn't building it himself
I know that most people prefer to pair an ESL with TLs because they can sound good enough to not be totally upstaged by the panels

Hi -
Yes, I know this is DIY!! I've built speaker cabinets in the past but not this time - looking for a ready made option! Any ideas for something in the UK would be very welcome.
