I just tried to pay and found out that I couldnt.
In order to spend money using paypal you have to wait for an account activation code that is printed on your credit card statment and then use the code to activate the account. It should be done by monday hopefully and I will pay you straight away.

Ah yes, I rember now, that's how I did mine (I kept checking online to see if it had been put onto my card statement).
Anyway, paypal have seen it fit to take the money of my card already, so you may as well accept it now if you want, as all it's doing at teh moment is sitting in paypals name.

I am working on a UK group purchase from Reichelt.
My bank will charge 14gbp for a Euro transfer. I'm doing the sums, but think that the best bet may be to hook into the Reichelt / Schuro group buy on another thread.

All those wanting trannys.........hold on I am currently sorting out
the Conrad order.......dealing with OZ is a pain.......esp phoning with cc number ................hopefully I will be doing this @ 5o'clock!!!! tomorrow morning argh......
I will get round to the tranny order Monday of next week.......
I will phone tranny company on Friday to confirm everything.....
then I will post here over the weekend........

Am I right in thinking that someone said that the Xformer company would ship to individual addresses?
I think this would probably be cheaper if they did and would save D3 from shipping out orders to individuals addresses as well.

Kram - 32
IRFP240 & IRFP9240 or IRF640 & IRF9640
10+ each

I spoke with Reichelt today - the parts are genuine IRS and I can request that when I order. The min order is now 100 euros. I don't think well have a problem hitting that!! 😉
If you go to reichelt.de you can get the prices. I will have a look tonight, but haven't done so yet. I'll do a prelim order to see how the numbers work out.

there do not seem to be quantity price breaks at Reichelt.
Here are the prices in Euros (quantities requested):
IRFP240 - 1.35 (10 no)
IRFP9240 - 1.60 (10 no)
IRFP044N - 1.20 (174 incl Pinkmouse's 24)
IRF9610 - 0.50
They don't seem to stock BYW99W-200 for the rectifier boards. The nearest is BYW98-200 at 0.22.
BTW, the ubiquitous TDA1543N (for all the NONOS DACs) is a mere 0.75. CS8412CP is 16.20.
Now, do we go ahead with the order as a small UK only job, or do we go with the group order that is currently being sorted in Trading Post.

Hi....all I am just waiting for the Conrad heatsink order to be finalised.....heatsinks are currently @ Stanstead Airport! so it won't be long .......I will start tranny order......once my credit card
has recovered......banks take ages to clear money in uk ...it really sucks.

As we have almost a couple of hundred 044s, is it worth contacting any of these other distributors to see if we could get a better price? I would, but I don't currently have the time...🙁

Not fussed, but it might be worth going UK direct, as we have a significant order, and it will save one lot of postage.
