Will a metal halide bulb work in a UHP ballast ? I have read elsewhere that if you match the Ac/Dc currents it will work, Eg.. 150watt DC metal halide with a 150watt DC UHP ballast.

For those of you that were wondering, yes it does work.
check out the result here.. haven't tried to project with it yet but the ballast will ignite the metal halide.
