That knob of yours!!! - I love it
I even started to wonder how you made it sturdy enough 🙂
Who ever claimed that making electronics were only possible in factories nowadays - and that DIY was dead?
I will, if it repeats, show them your pictures.
Cheers,
Martin

PS: I still Love your Avatar's picture.
Thanks. I may have told you before. It is a diy Avatar. Generated on an Amiga 1000 with a phoneix board, from a mandlebrot program I wrote in C and assembler 🙂 (the main iteration loop was written in assembler including direct access to the 68881 coprocessor which was not integrated with the main cpu (being only a 68000).

Mx50se, LJM P9 preamp in a box.
Sounds good, could have been a bit more tidy.
LOL that is epic! 😀
I finished a pre today too. Not particularly aesthetic, but not quite in the league of other posts in this thread 😉
11 X gain to get a decent level out of a wireless mic when connected to a standard amplifier. The base had rca out but it just did not have anywhere near enough gain.
edit: oh and the measurement to show it is good working 😉 input was -27db.

I'm going to take that as a rhetorical question. Either that or it is too philosophical for my present state of mind 😉
