I have read the datasheet for UF4001 by Fairchild (link: http://www.fairchildsemi.com/ds/UF/UF4007.pdf), and I have a question: when giving the forward voltage characteristics, the current's specified values are instantaneous or rms (60Hz)?
Also, has anyone tried to modify a 1N4001 spice model to suit the UF4001? If so, what modifications does he suggest? An obvious one would be the reverse recovery time, and probably the threshold voltage - which I approximate as being 0.42 V for a UF4001 based on the link.
