The result
Ok, I think it's time to leave some feedback on the final result of my little project.
I used all premium materials for these speakers ( 22mm AA birch ply, 16awg silver-plated OFC wiring, 20mm felt e.t.c. ) and now after about 200 hours of use I have to say that I am quite satisfied from their performance. Actually its quite amazing how they render so good in both extreems.
Out of the box they were totally unlistenable, they needed extensive burn in time in order to settle down. Being used to paper cone drivers the aluminium cones sounded quite rigid at the beginning but now the only difference compared to the Alpair 10P is that they don't have that midrange texture of the paper cone. They sound utterly clean but in positieve way. If powered by some nice EL34s they do worm up and geve very pleasant sound.
I did the first listening after about 100 hours and in my room I missed a bit in the low frequencies so i flared the outer rim of the vent and that kind of helped to rase the tuning a bit.
Here some photos from the final result:

They look good indeed, and do i spot there a Prima Luna Amplifier? I also use one, a Prologue 4 with my MLTL's with the CHN110. I made them in MDF altough as they were more a proof of concept. But i plan to rebuild them in birch ply also as they soon became my favorite speaker set.
But yours look very good, a well done project if the sound is as good as the looks (it won't be the driver if it ain't).
