Main goal: design a cylindrical sub for one of two drivers.
I picked up the 10" alnico woofer from an Alon V which is supposed to be a decent driver. I'd like to use it in a sub - I have Alon Lotus for mains. However, Alon hasn't been forth coming with the specs on the driver. I can get the size of the original enclosure. I'm wondering if I can just go ahead and pop it into the sealed 350 watt rocket sub I’m using.
Part 2:
If so, I'd have the spare rocket woofer that I'd like to use in a small cylindrical sub I want to build (want to match some Decware radial speakers). Then again, I don't have specs for the rocket driver, so I'm thinking maybe I should leave that sub intact and just use the Alon in a new sub.
Any idea about how to proceed with such limited data? Thanks.
