Two questions: bulb upgrades & LCD TV usage

Hi all,

I have a EIKI OHP 4100 projector that is 410 Watt, 4000 lumens.

I'd like to upgrade the lamp in it, if possible, to a higher lumens bulb because its not very bright.

Is this possible?

Also,

I'm considering stripping an LCD TV that boasts a good response time and resolution so i can use the RCA and S-Video inputs on it that outflank my Nview by far.

Are there any drawbacks to stripping LCD TV's as opposed to Monitors?
