Two mystery tubes: Hoges ECC88 and Haltron 12AT7

My apologies Merlinb, you found the right manufacturer - it's French. I have looked at several photos and made comparisons with the Haltron 12AT7, and could thus exclude Mazda/Belvu. This leaves us with La Radiotechnique whose 12AT7 is identical to the Haltron, including the number (29) moulded into the glass between the pins. Thanks!

Quest successful, both tubes have been identified:
Hoges ECC88 = Sylvania, Emporium USA, 1972
Haltron 12AT7 = La Radiotechnique, Suresnes France, year unknown

Thanks to all who helped in this search, it's been fun and I'm very grateful. Now time for some listening!

Some B.E.L. examples since they were a likely contender.

These were bought many years ago whilst still in original box.

Here are examples from what I think are examples from 60's and late 70's when small tubes production was tapering down.

They made an exhaustive range from miniatures to huge transmitting types. Likely they still make some for RF use.
