I have a single channel sub amp, and a 4 channel amp that both have completely severed gain knob "pots"(?) basically the square with the dial is severed from the circuit board.
I understand these amps are cheap, probably not worth the trouble etc but I am frugal and determined so please advise accordingly.
Is it possible to take similar gain knob "pots"(?) from older, similar watt/class amps and re-solder them to the board?
Is it possible to bypass the integrated gain knob and run a remote gain knob? Does this depend on make/model or is it fundamentally feasible.
thanks! first time posting so be easy on me
