So an 8" speaker is good 8 ft away, a 10"speaker 10 ft away, up to a 15" speaker 15 ft away?

I guess that to

have impressive blocs-travelling bass

then we need some 30 feet diameter speakers , given that a typical city block is around 300 feet long 🙄

NOW I'm RUNNING to USSpeaker to check prices on 30 feet (360 ") speakers. 😱

Keep it simple, (er). 🙂 One 12" instead of two 10"s is easier all around, and CV as I remember is a okay party speaker with some good thump but that was 1998-99 .

So I guess if you have a PA setup in a big venue where the spectators are 300 feet away we should have a 300" speaker? Well that sounds like a great idea!
