Thanks for the reply. Both alpair 10.3 and 10P should be extremely popular. You should definitely get a pair of each 😀
Any plans to make a kit for Fostex FE206En with Folded Horn cabinet?
Would be very interested for a 2A3 SE amp...

Folded horn cabinet for FE206En is large and very high freight cost.

Tony, are you interested in reverse-engineering the folded horn? I think it is possible to be made smaller and lighter without compromising the bass performance too much.
Hi Boris,
Can you provide me more information about the reverse-engineering the folded horn?
Thanks,
Tony.

There are a few key parameters in a horn design that affects how it sounds: compression chamber size, horn length, closed-end cross-sectional area and opened-end cross-sectional area.
I have roughly estimated the parameters:
horn length: ~2.7m, should be longer
Compression chamber vol: >13L, can be tuned to taste according to Fostex
Closed-end XO area: 140cm^2
opened-end XO area:1225cm^2
With these parameters, we can engineer the horn with minimal calculations.

This sounds very interesting...
