I'm just a dumb kid let loose in the REW candystore.
Yes, "ETC" impulse response that REW calls "Envelope" meaning, I think, rectified. I don't know if I stumbled across some smoothing or not.
But with no understanding to guide me, seems to distinguish among a box of vintage tweeters I came to recently possess. The envelope for 1 millisecond seems to distinguish nicely. Beyond an ms or two, the room chimes in.
From the box, here's what looks like a pretty classy vintage fried egg tweeter. Any need to label the FR (fried egg and T110 ribbon) and the fried egg ETC.?
I've also attached a favourable impulse from my ESL panel. No EQ or XO, but looks good for a 43 year old dipole: kind of looks like a real pulse ought to look like, eh.
