Tweeter Replacement for Paradigm Studio 60 v3's?

I'm very inexperienced when it comes to modifying/building speakers, but I'm wondering if it would be possible to replace the sometimes harsh sounding aluminum dome tweeter in the Paradigm Studio 60 v3 towers with something like a silk dome. From what I've read on the Internet, the v2's had aluminum domes made by Vifa. The domes in the v3s look very close to the Vifa D25AG-35 tweeters, which look almost identical to the Vifa D27TG-3 silk dome. The properties of both look to be fairly close, but I'm not sure how well the crossover in the v3's would cooperate with the silk dome. The 3 mounting screws also look like they would line up exactly with the tweeter "plate" that is on the Paradigms.

Does anyone have any ideas here?
