I have a pair of B&W Matrix S3's and I'm wondering if I need to worry about the ferro fluid drying out in the tweeters. They were manufactured in 1993
I also have a pair of Energy Ref Conns with the hyperdome tweeters and I had them rebuilt as apparently the fluid dries out on them. The difference was night and day after it was done.
Is this something that I would eventually need to have done on my B&W's to keep them performing the way they did when they were new?
They sound like they are fine, but then again I thought the tweeters in my Energy's were fine too...
Thanks for any comments guys.
